BIOSEP has developed a new, unique treatment plant for the separation of packaged foods. Our technology, called BIOSEP ®, makes it possible to separate organic residues from unwanted packaging components i.e. glass, metal, plastic, paper, wood etc.

Thus, more biomass and less waste is created hence lowering production costs!

• The BIOSEP ® technology removes all food packaging including metals and glass without the need for further separation or prescreening.

• The use of water is absolutely minimal: The process accounts for a single water treatment in washing reject material with a resultant increase waste material for energy creation.
• Separated reject material is reduced to between 5% and 7% of the original waste stream.
• Minimal loss of organic material: the separated reject contains approximately 1% organic material.
